North Star Productions and Jacobson Realty Team Announce ACT II: After Hours, an Elevated Nightlife Experience for Sundance’s Boulder Debut

DENVER, CO — OCTOBER 26, 2026: As Sundance begins a new chapter in Colorado, Boulder-based Jacobson Realty Team and Denver-based North Star Productions are collaborating on ACT II: After Hours, a new late-night experience celebrating the festival’s arrival in Boulder. Taking place January 23, 2027, at The Studio Boulder, ACT II will combine electronic music, immersive design and elevated hospitality in a setting inspired by the glamour of old Hollywood.
Designed as more than a traditional festival after-party, ACT II reflects North Star’s vision for a more intentional kind of nightlife - exceptional music, thoughtful hospitality, creative environments and experiences built around connection.
ACT II draws on the talents and expertise of Colorado partners across live production, music, culinary, hospitality, media and community engagement. They include Peak Performances, Colorado’s premier concert and festival producer; James Beard Award-nominated chef Bo Porytko of Molotov; Roots Music Project, which will receive a portion of ticket proceeds; DragonFruit Video; Mix & Shoot Beverages; and Spirit Bird Trust.
“ACT II brings together so much of what North Star is about - music, design, hospitality and community,” said Elizabeth Martialay, founder and CEO of North Star Productions. “It also gives us an opportunity to showcase the extraordinary creative talent we have here in Colorado, give back to our community, and create something distinctive for both the people who live here and those discovering Colorado during Sundance.”
The event will also introduce a new partnership between North Star Productions and Spirit Bird Trust, which is developing creative initiatives around planetary defense and asteroid Apophis. The asteroid’s exceptionally close approach to Earth in April 2029 presents a rare scientific opportunity, and the partnership will explore how music, art and live experiences can bring that story to a broader audience.
ACT II: After Hours takes place Saturday, January 23, 2027, starting at 9:30 p.m. at The Studio Boulder.
